Gratitude

As I interview participants, my favorite question to ask is, “What are you grateful for?”

It’s always good to pause and take a moment to ask this of ourselves. I’m always pleasantly surprised to hear so many reasons for which to be grateful.

Do you have a minute or two? This is your chance! Use the comments section and tell us…

What are you grateful for?

  1. I am grateful for this day. I was listening to a podcast this morning, and it began with the sentence, “Thousands of people went to bed last night and didn’t wake up. You did.” It’s simple, but I made me really aware of this brand new day in a way that I hadn’t really visualized before.

  2. I am grateful for many things, but today I am thankful for nature. I once read that you should spend 30 minutes a day in nature being silent. Incredibly, I can go a few days without doing this. But when I am silent in nature, I consider it my meditation — my “listening” time. I am always surprised at how refreshed I feel after my time in nature.
